The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and our final authority for faith and life.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, who died for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and lives forever.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, gives new life to the believer, and empowers Christians to live faithfully for Christ.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from human works or merit.
The Church
We believe the local church is a body of baptized believers joined together for worship, fellowship, discipleship, service, and the spread of the gospel.
Christ's Return
We believe Jesus Christ will personally return and that every believer should live in faithful expectation of His coming.
Baptism & the Lord's Supper
We believe baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances given by Christ to His church.
Our Church Covenant
Our Church Covenant expresses the commitments we make to God and to one another as members of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
